The Felt Invasion

I feel sad lately... maybe it's the night drawing in and getting colder... maybe it's my pitiful bank balance... who knows. I do have a sure fire cure for  the blues tho, when I feel sad I turn to the feltanomicon to cheer me up! I have been making some new designs recently, just playing and having fun with it all and my fevered brain came up with brain squids!

They are super cute little one eyed aliens that sit on your head and suck you brains out! I think they are great fun, it very hard to feel sad when you are wearing one of these all I have to do is catch my reflection in a mirror and I'm giggling!

Old Thu face, the dark god Cthulhu Feltathulhu is back for halloween again too and I am planning my Christmas lines too... lets hope that the sales follow soon!

Those two are sooo cute! Love them!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for loads of sales!

Ahhh... I love them! The little pink bow is just fab. And you're right, they do have great Smile Power!

I hope the bank balance improves in the next month or so - I wish you loads of pre-Christmas sales.

It's always a struggle, when you set up on your own. Working by yourself at home can make you feel isolated; the drop in income can be at best disconcerting and at worst, quite worrying. Keep positive and don't let yourself get too bogged down with waiting for sales.

I think you're doing what you should be - making stuff (fab stuff I may add!), planning, listing, blogging, marketing (blog, Facebook, Twitter etc)... It will all come together, with patience and effort.
I hope you get the chance to go and "see people" from time to time, so you don't turn into a brain-squid-wearing loony...
:-)

These little guys are terrific! You are a very talented artist. My husband called me over to the computer the other day to take a look at my Facebook page. He was very impressed with your parrots!

I think these are brilliant and many sales will ensue....I personally felt like I had one of these on my head all last week and I think it would have helped others empathize if they could have actually seen what was effecting me .

Hi from Australia... those brain suckers made me laugh out loud.. You go girl and as another artist working from home I know what your meaning..Hang in! I think these little dudes are going to take off. Get them to the markets they will take off. I envision a heap of them on a table all different colours and a sign saying Warning: The wearer of these will get their brains sucked out! Great work
