Way way back in November me and a couple of gal pals invaded a local gallery for a couple of weeks with our Birds of a Feather exhibition. Well from the 6th of March I'll be invading their space once more with a flock of birdies.

Also in the space will be hosting a photography competition for the
Freddie Gilroy scupture appeal... you can follow the Freddie's freinds here on
facebook. The competition is to win a sculpture by artist Ray Lonsdale and to help buy a camera to watch over Freddie Gilroy's sculpture on North Bay... I'll be manning the space from 11-3 during the week and probably a bit longer on saturday.

Also in the space will be the work of local photographer
Andi Blake who's work is stunning and of course a small flock of felt birds. After the sculpture moves on I'll be manning the space on a more permanent basis so the flock will remain and lots of other lovely things from local artists and makers too. We intend to be open at least Friday and Saturday every week and then more in the holidays.

I'm really excited about working with Andrea of Andrea Willis design and the guys from Eat Me Cafe to make the artspace a sucess... so if you are in Scarborough pop by and say hi... the space is on Hanover Road just opposite the station.
