It's far too nice to stay in doors today, too hot to work and far too hot for blogging so I am heading to the park to take pictures of the ducks!
Before that I will leave you with the 2nd bird in my American birds series, I've been wanting to do a blue jay for a while now and when I found this beautiful blue I knew I had to make you. Here he is perched on my Birds of North America guide, I'm really happy with him... he looks a bit like a bandit with his eye markings!

He is so aorable :) Do you think you will do any brown jays? They are my favourite bird. Having said that, I have also just seen an image of a grey one, and he too was very beautiful :)
He looks so cute, I really like the last photo of him looking in the book! I also kinda like the fact he looks like a bandit. Got a lot of personality!
That little critter is too cute for words. tweet tweet.
Oh my goodness! He looks so super super cute! I love his looks! And the pic of him reading the book is super cute!
Or my God is the most beautiful I've ever seen, so tender, so well done its details, sorry for my English greetings from Spain
OMGosh I LOOOOOOOVE him!! He may be my very favorite yet!!! Fantastic job! :)
So cute! And my grandparents always had that same bird book in the front room with their binoculars :)
What a great Blue Jay! And they *are* little bandits - they will steal the food right from your picnic table as you sit there! And the Gray Jays in the Rocky Mountains are even worse. They will steal food from your hand as you attempt to eat! The Steller's Jays out here in the Pacific Northwest are more wary of people, but are still rascals. They look even more like bandits, they have a whole black hood! :)
You should do a whole Jay line of tweets! :)
So lovely! What a great idea!
He's so cute - I love the image of him reading the book :)
