Teeny Tweet Big Birthday Giveaway

Here's a special giveaway for you. To celebrate my 30th Birthday on July 7th I have decided to giveaway not one, not two but three, yes that's three teeny tweets! Which means three winners... each winner will recieve 1 teeny tweet in the colours of their choice.


The rules are simple... there are 2 main ways to enter, firstly you can leave a comment here on the blog, secondly you can retweet the competition on twitter on http://twitter.com/Feltmeupdesigns and send me a twitter message.

Monkey Swap Madness

Look what I got in the post! Here's a lovely bag of loveliness from http://kelly-handmadeathome.blogspot.com/ this cam for me as part of the monkey swap organised by Claire Payne of etsy. Thanks Kelly and Claire. I especially love his little monkey scarf and he will be decorating his monkey home with these lovely stickers as soon as he gets named!Here's my effort at the monkey swap, if you want to see the other swappers then visit claire's flickr group I have to admit the monkey swap was super fun and all the swappers were so great, my little wee monkey and his little banana may even end up as a design in my shop!

Let Me Introduce You To...

This week I thought I'd show you something a little different... it's still felt but it's not needlefelted and it's fab. I'd like to introduce you to Britishcreamtea of etsy, I can't belive how real these little fancy cakes look!

I love BCT's felt food made from recycled materials. Her whole shop has a whiff of nostagia and takes me back to my child hood. I love her seaside rock, ice creams and lollies (popsicles if your from the US) probably because I live at the seaside and I adore the sense of faded seaside glamour that it has here.You just have to love this "99 Ice cream" if you've not come across this before its a whipped icecream in a cone with a chocolate flake in... I'm old enough to remember when 99's cost 99p last time I bought (monday) one it cost me £1.30! Take the time to read BCT's descriptions and you'll learn a lot about these great British treats!
