Drawing in Felt
Sometimes I just get plain old bored with handbags and my creative side needs to break out. That's why I made this felt picture of a mermaid/siren. The technique is called water color felt although I kinda hate that term. It would really be more appropriate to call it charcoal felt since I use the felt in to get the same qualities as charcoal.
I laid down a layer of black felt as a base firts and the built upon it with layers of black and white. The body was cut from white prefelt to give it a greater density so it would not blend into the black. The whole process took several days and the completed art work is 1 meter long by 60 cms wide.

Working hard for Christmas
Well, it's that time of year again and I am working hard on my commissions for Christmas. The only problem with this is I don't really have time for my real work, the things that I love. I have, however, still managed to fit in time for making this fella.
This is my very first tentacle bag, something I have been wanting to make forever since i started making tentacle creations. He's really given me a kick start and i am ready to take on those commissions now.
I absolutely love him but he will be on sale on my Etsy site soon...
